Elk Ridge Water Utility
After 10 years of dedicated hard work with multiple community stakeholders, Elk Ridge is now proceeding and fully approved.
One of our proudest accomplishments and a key to our success is in creating the now approved Paldi / Elk Ridge water and sewer service area. Through years of negotiations, a historical collaborative agreement was reached between Elk Ridge Estates LTD, THE Cowichan Tribes and CVRD "Equal Precedence Water Utility Agreement"
This key element means major affordable housing growth within the CVRD and equal opportunity and longevity for all key community stakeholders.
We are uniquely positioned with the Cowichan Valley Regional District
The water & sewer utility located in the Elk Ridge service area in partnership with Cowichan Tribes has been recognized in the new proposed OCP to be the containment area for all current and future growth within the CVRD.

This includes a robust fire protection plan, emergency food storage and first aid, nuclear preparedness plan, onsite back up HAM radio communication and much more.
